A YouTube series for non-coders
Build your first app. Get it on the App Store.
No coding background needed. Follow along from an empty folder to an app Apple approves, with every step, every rejection and every fix shown on a real app.
- 10apps and games live
- 6,000+downloads in the last two months
- 0lines of code written by hand
What the series covers
iPhone first. Android comes later in the series.
- Pick an idea worth building. Small enough to finish, useful enough that people download it.
- Set up your Mac and an AI coding agent. The tools, and how to talk to them so they build what you mean.
- Build the app one screen at a time. Test it on your own iPhone as you go.
- Apple Developer account and App Store Connect. What to sign up for and what every setting means.
- Privacy labels, privacy policy and terms. Get them right the first time, because Apple checks.
- Screenshots and the store listing. Name, subtitle, keywords and images that get your app found.
- Submit, get rejected, fix it, resubmit. Real rejections from real apps, and exactly how each was fixed.
- Launch day. Your app is live, with a link you can send anyone.
Who's teaching this
I'm Joel. I run J&B Creations, a one-person studio in Michigan with ten apps and games on the App Store, all built with AI coding agents.
I've been through the rejections, the privacy forms and the review waits more times than I can count. This series shows you that whole process, step by step, so your first app gets approved.
I do all of it around a full-time job and a family, in the hours I can find. If you're wondering whether you have the time, that's the whole point of showing you how I do it.
Zero to Shipped: the playbook
The written companion to the series: the walkthrough you follow in order, plus the templates, the privacy label guide and the real rejection fixes.
The playbook is $19, the Submission Pack is $19, or take both for $29. The pre-submission checklist is free and online right now.
